A very insightful read into the mind of Mani Ratnam! We are told why he decided to make movies that told controversial stories, a Hindu-Muslim couple caught in religious riots in Bombay, a love-triangle involving a mature separated woman in Pallavi Anu Pallavithe doomed relationship of an obsessed lover and a terrorist in Dil Se Rewatch videos they talked about.

But something about it doesn’t work. Don’t have a Kindle? Every time I went home as I mostly read during work commute and ‘had to’ revisit the sound I wanted to love it, but couldn’t. The conversational format gives an authentic feel that you’re listening to Mani Sir himself and Rangan delivers what he promises!

Given any creator, the person would have some pattern of thinking and story t I have never read a book which talks about movies, so when I was having an eye on this book I was fascinated to pick it up directly. In all our fancy for cinema outside of us, maybe we are missing out on all the spice that is available inside of us.
